My story
My Journey in Nail Artistry
I was 14 when I fell in love with nails. Still in school, I spent my weekends traveling to clients' homes just to practice my craft — long before I ever worked in an actual salon. At 18, right after graduation, I got my first job as a nail technician, and that same year I went to my first beauty exhibition in Kyiv. That trip changed something in me — I saw how big this industry really was, and I wanted in.
Nine months into that first job, an opportunity came up to work in Northern Italy. At 19, I spent three months there as a premium nail tech and coach, working alongside and training other women in one of Europe's most competitive markets. When I came back, I went fully self-employed and started building my own client base from scratch. That same year, I entered my first competition and walked away with a silver medal in hardware manicure — the first of many. My work ended up featured seven times in Nails Of The Day magazine, and not long after, I opened my own small salon and started teaching training courses on the side.
At 21, I turned down a job that would've taken me across the world. Instead, Qatar came calling, and I decided to build my life there. Since then, I've completed over 100 courses and trainings, always chasing the next skill to master. Today I have more than 12 years of experience and have worked with over 1,000 happy clients.
At 23, I held the title of official Grand Master of Staleks in Qatar, training and mentoring nail artists there. And at 24, I represented Ukraine at the World Championship in Paris, competing against 50 other countries — and came home with two medals, gold and silver, and the title of WORLD CHAMPION. Still one of the proudest moments of my life.
I'm still learning, still competing, and still chasing that next technique to master.
Nice to meet you!
